The “Pin” feature for your search history is an incredibly handy way to keep specific search entries within easy reach. By using it, you can efficiently manage important information and searches you want to refer to often. Below, we explain how to use this feature and what makes it useful.

How to pin an entry
To pin a search history entry, follow these steps:
1. Swipe the entry you want to pin to the right. When you swipe, a pin icon appears next to that item.
2. Tap the pin icon. The search entry then moves to the top of the list, setting it apart from the others.
3. You can also pin an entry from the menu in the top right of the search results page.
Unpinning an entry is just as easy. Swipe the entry to the right in the same way and tap the pin icon again to unpin it.
What makes pinned search history special
1. It isn’t removed by “Clear all search history”
Normally, “Clear all search history” erases every entry, but pinned items are the exception. Even when you clear your history, pinned search entries remain as they are.
2. It keeps things organized
Because pinned search entries are grouped at the top of the list, you can quickly find the content you check often. This greatly reduces the effort of hunting for what you need in a long search history.
